We are currently experiencing technical issues with online invoices. You may have paid your Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF), but find it is still showing as outstanding on your invoice. Please be aware where payment has been made, it is registering on our database and we do have a record of payments.
This anomaly will be fixed soon. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Invoices are now available on StudentConnect for enrolments in this first study period.
Generate your invoice to check the accuracy of your enrolment. If you vary your enrolment make sure you create your invoice again.
Even if you are deferring the debt to HECS-HELP, FEE-HELP and/or SA-HELP you should still generate your invoice to check that your Tax File Number is supplied and the total of fees being deferred.
If the Student Services and Amenities Fee
appears on your invoice, you must ensure this is either paid or you request to defer this fee via SA-HELP (if eligible), this does not apply to international or research students.
You must ensure that all financial obligations to the University are met on time to avoid termination of your enrolment and re-instatement charges.
For information on paying your invoice visit the Fees webpage
Commonwealth Assistance Notices (CAN) for Trimester 3/Residential 3 2013 are now available on StudentConnect.
This notice shows you the student contributions/tuition fees you are liable for in the current study period, and the total HECS-HELP, FEE-HELP or SA-HELP that will be reported to the Australian Taxation Office (if applicable).
It is important that you check the accuracy of the information reported on your notice, and you keep a copy for your records. If you believe any of the information on the CAN is incorrect you must email your query to email@example.com
within 14 days of the date of issue of the CAN.
New Student Declaration
We have updated the Student Declaration that you agree to each time you enrol or amend your enrolment on StudentConnect. Each time you attempt to amend your enrolment details or re-enrol for the future, you will need to agree to terms and conditions for StudentConnect to allow you to proceed.
Need to know more?
- It’s now called ‘Terms and Conditions of enrolment at Deakin University’ instead of a Student Declaration
- In the past we had a broad statement that asked you to confirm that you’ll adhere to policies and procedures of the University. While this statement still exists, we’ve provided more detail about some important points. We’ve included links to policies and webpages to give you more information to help you understand the expectations of being a student at Deakin and also how we’ll use your information.
If you have any queries, please contact Customer Service or the staff in any Deakin Central office.
